This stunning three storey terrace home is newly renovated and architecturally designed by the owners. It’s only available for a short window so get in quick!

Cleverly designed to allow in maximum natural light, set off by crisp white walls, this is a light and bright home. The entry level opens into the main living spaces encompassing a front lounge with sofa, armchair and fireplace, flowing through to the dining area where the table seats 6 (a high chair is also available) and a powder room. Then a further lounge area with smart TV is positioned conveniently next to the kitchen so you can keep an eye on the kids while preparing meals. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped (including dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave) and a cafe window means you can enjoy coffee with a view to the garden. Glass sliders open to the garden that has built-in seating and a BBQ as well as enough space for children to enjoy being out in the sun. As the home enjoys a nearly east-west aspect, this east-facing outdoors area gets plenty of light until later in the afternoon.

On the first level there is an additional living area with a study desk. The master bedroom faces the front and enjoys the use of the original balcony. It has a King bed and large mirrored built-in wardrobes. Note there will be personal effects in place. The second bedroom has a single with a trundle bed, sleeping 2 guests, and there are toys and books for children. The main bathroom is beautifully designed with a separate bathtub and shower, a double vanity and toilet.

Up a second flight of stairs on the third level is another bedroom with a Queen bed and baby cot. There is also a nursing chair.

The entire house is tastefully decorated with high end fixtures and fittings and has a warm, welcoming family-friendly vibe. All linen is provided as well as many little extras due to it being a family home.

There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the upstairs living area, the second bedroom and attic, as well as ceiling fans. WIFI is provided. Parking is available on the street.

Local Area

The location is terrific. Set on a quiet leafy street, in a blue ribbon area, it’s a short stroll to Oxford Street, so everything is on your doorstep yet you’re away from the hustle and bustle.

There are a multitude of shops, cafes and restaurants along this stretch of this iconic strip of Paddington. Great Italian food dominates but there’s also seafood, international cuisine and some excellent hotels serving pub grub.

Boutiques line Oxford and Queen streets, and Paddington markets, held each Saturday, features clothes, jewellery, homewares, arts and crafts and artisan foods. It’s well worth a visit just for the vibe! If you fancy some more mainstream retail therapy, Westfield Bondi is a short bus ride away. The bus stop is very close to the property on Oxford Street, and buses also go from here into the city. There’s also an IGA within a short walk from the house for food shopping. It’s a well-serviced and accessible location.

ANZ Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, the Hordern Pavilion and Fox Studios, and Moore Park are all walkable. Enjoy a game of golf, a game of tennis or take the children go-karting. Centennial Park is just a 10 minute walk, offering vast spaces for outdoor walks, kicking a ball or enjoying the cafe-restaurant beside the playground. There’s plenty to see: ducks, a labyrinth, wild play park, enjoy a horse ride or take the bikes.

With your choice of beaches and Eastern suburbs hubs nearby there’s a great deal to explore, and with such a terrific house to stay in you’ll be sad it can’t be for longer. Enjoy it while you can!
