Taking advantage of its second floor position (note no lift), the spectacular views are on offer from both the living room, bedroom and kitchen. The mix of soft grey and timber finishes in the lounge and kitchen areas enable the blue vistas to take centre stage.
A comfy leather sofa and ottoman face the wall mounted smart TV, inviting relaxing evenings while the superbly appointed kitchen is complete with everything you’ll need to cook up a storm, and includes a dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. There are stools at the benchtop as well as a custom dining table for 2, leading out to the balcony. Both a bar table and stools and outdoor lounge seating provide a fabulous spot to soak up the sun or entertain guests.
Wake up to the views from the sun-soaked bedroom. Luxuriously carpeted, it houses a Queen bed and has a TV, built-in robes and an overhead fan. All linen is provided. The bathroom is modern and sleek with a rain shower, vanity and toilet. There is also a European style laundry cupboard with a washing machine and dryer for your use tucked away out of sight.
With WiFi and parking for one car on site (though you really don't need a car in this location), this apartment offers everything you require for a terrific summer getaway.
Local Area
The location of this apartment is superb. Right opposite Icebergs Dining, it’s just over 200 metres to the iconic sands of Bondi Beach. Cafes, restaurants and boutique stores are right on your doorstep. A stay here will be a forever memory.
From swimming and surfing to beach yoga and volleyball, the full spectrum of beach and water activities are at your fingertips. It’s one of the best places to watch the world go past, and even to do some celebrity spotting! You’ll be in the perfect spot at New Year’s Eve which brings a crowd to the beach to enjoy the fireworks.
The famous Bondi to Coogee coastal walk starts from just near the apartment and is well worth doing. On the way, a wander round Waverley Cemetery is fascinating, or just enjoy exploring the in-demand coastal suburbs. With plenty of bays dotted along this stretch of coastline, there are a host of opportunities to vary your swimming or coffee setting.
As far as eateries are concerned, this location is fantastic. A cocktail at Icebergs is a must, Ravesi’s balcony for brekkie is a great experience or a meal at the popular El Indio or the iconic Totti’s Bondi might appeal, but there are plenty of other options. The range of restaurants, pubs, takeaways and the thriving cafe culture draw crowds from all over the world. The month of December is a great time to experience this bustling foreshore.
If you enjoy a spot of retail therapy, there are boutiques dotted along the foreshore, or alternatively take the bus to Bondi Westfield. One of the largest shopping centres in Australia, it houses all the major outlets from high end designer stores to high street mainstays. The bus from just opposite the property can also take you to Sydney centre with its full range of retail shops and tourist attractions. Bondi markets might also appeal, held at the weekends at the north end of the beach, with some artisan style stalls selling jewellery, craft and clothing, and at Christmas undoubtedly some extra offerings.
